This'll be a stab from the past...not from me personally, but about Zork Grand Inquisitor. I have the DVD copy and have been using your formula for running it on XP. I've actually sort of obsessed about it and tried it on 2 different computers, twice times. The first 2 times exactly to your written instructions. The last 2 times were copying the files "Inquis.zix" and "Inquisc.zix" in Notepad meticulously to your examples in the boxes in green fonts.
